This is my first blog I am writing.
Product design and development is very complex process in the present era. Product design and development are mainly two phases in industry. The asset of company is its product. So lets talk about it.

Product Design
Any kind of need for something leads to product concepts. Need is the most basic thing in concept design phase. Survey of market leads to identification of need of customer. After product concept you are diverting to actual start of product design. In this process you will finalize shape, size , appearance , specification and many more. This all are finalized on the basis of market survey.
Now this product are converted into 3 D data that we called CAD. But much more people are confused in design and CAD. So make sure that you aware of it.

Product Development
This is next phase of product.3D model is then going to CAE department for analysis purpose. CAE is best technique for accelerating your product development cycle. After analysis the CAE Engineers and Design Engineers are going to discuss the design modification and changes in parameters. After much more cycle in between CAE and Design departments the design and development of product is completed.

Hello All, Crash worthiness is defined as a ability of structure to withstand a crash energy and safeguard the occupant.For this i simulated one small crush-Box.For accurate material modelling material testing and validation is very important step in CAE. After accurate material selection and validation in CAE we can simulate our whole product.The energy absorb by this box is shown n figure. Crush box simulation is Quasi-static type of analysis. For physical testing of material UTM is used.For material testing quasi static conditions are used. For crash worthiness material which depends on strain rate different type of strain rate must considered. Every material is strain rate dependent.
